This Month's Kicker

I was playing video poker at my favorite tavern last month and having horrible luck. Was also watching my baseball team get routed. Not a great day so far. I had about hundred bucks left of my bankroll and decided to do something really stupid. When my team was up to bat I played dollars. Moved to quarters when the other team was up. Fortunately, two great things happened. My hands were much better playing dollars (I hit aces and a kicker during one of my team's at bat) and my team scored a bunch of runs the next few innings and ended up winning the game. Haven’t tried this strategy since – and probably never will!
