This Month's Kicker
 I usually limit my visits to the local casino to once a week, but my husband was such a grouch yesterday morning, I decided I needed to get out of the house. Early on, I hit four 4's for $100 and decided I would cash out when my balance got down to $60. I put the voucher away and vowed to save it for another day. We all know how that goes. Once my original money was gone, my willpower vanished, and I put that $60 into a machine, knowing it would soon disappear.
I was playing 25 cent Triple Double Bonus, and sure enough, the $60 quickly dwindled down to $26.25. I held ONE ace: next thing I know, I am dealt 3 more aces with a 2 and the machine starts flashing. I won $1,000!!! Sweet. After the attendant paid me, I decided I would just play out the remaining $26.25 and leave. Just a minute later, that balance had dropped to $16.25 and again, I held ONE ace. I was in total shock when I got dealt four 4s and won another $500!
As I was driving home, it occurred to me that if my husband hadn't been grumpy that morning, I wouldn't have won, so I decided to share some of my winnings with him. lol
