My wife and I are devoted Vegas fans, going there 4-5 times a year. We live in the San Jose, CA area, so catching a plane at the airport is quick and easy. We decided to go to South Lake Tahoe for something different, since we have not been there for about 15 years. We were comped for 2 nights at Harrah's. My wife and I did the 'lap around the casino' to check it out before gambling. On the side of the casino, I found my favorite 5 star video poker machines. I have had some success on those machines in the past. I played Double Super Times Pay Triple Double .25 denom., $1.75 a push. After about 20 minutes playing, I was up only about $75. The next hand, I was dealt 2 aces with a 3X multiplier. I held the 2 aces. I then got a 4X multiplier (7X total), then I was dealt 2 more aces and a 3 kicker. Could not believe the payout was $7000!!! I screamed for my wife, who was about 50 feet away. Needless to say the rest of the trip was paying cash for everything, never went to the ATM!
