What to "aim" for when playing the weekly keno?

I have always been the kind of player that goes for the "8 out of 8" and settle for nothing less when I'm at a casino but on VP.com, you have so many options to "aim" for.
I like starting out the week going for the highest score but by the middle of the week, I start to get more concerned about making my points for the I Pad entry. Then I abandon all hope of using my patterns and just let the numbers go.
Keno is a great game but you have to be a diverse player.
