Lately, instead of trying to predict where the spots will land, I see a pattern and I move my numbers(8 or 10) to that location. Try it.

I don't believe it matters what numbers you pick.  You will receive what the RNG computer chip randomly selects.  7 out of 7 is around 40,000 to 1.  Might have to push it 80,000 times to get a 7 out of 7.  When the chip decides to pay you will win.  IMHO.

My local casino has almost 95% payback for nickel and dime keno. I use a 20 card nickel pattern ($1.00 a time) that I found on the Internet using from 3 spots to 8 spots on numbers 1-12. Seems to get a lot of playback and builds slot club points like a penny slot at my local.

I think typically 5 and 7 spots have the best returns so ill play that many numbers if I play keno.

I haven't been to a legit casino in over a year but I play daily at these skill game rooms which have several different kenos:

Superball Keno: Same as Power Keno ~ many differing payouts

Toucheasy Keno: Higher paying than Superball varying payouts as some versions pay $1000/25-cent bet some pay $1250/25-cent bet. There are rare versions that pay higher similar to high paying keno (i.e. 206.25 for 5/5 on 25 cents and $1250 for 7 out of 7, i rarely played 10 because the odds were bad but believe they paid 2000 or 2500 but you rarely find this payout)

Double Up Keno ~ Allows you to double your bet after 10 numbers. Pays $1000 for 10/10 on a 25-cent bet if you double it that makes it $2000. I've had many good hits on small bets.

Super Double Up ~ It combines Superball and Double Up as the name suggests. There are 2 payout versions and I advise to stay away from the one as it pays much less:

6/6 pays 150x bet as opposed to 200x
7/7 pays 200x bet as opposed to 500x
8/8 pays 500x bet as opposed to 1000x
9/9/ pays 1000x bet as opposed to 2000x (8/9 pays only 200x vs 500x)
10/10 pays 1000x instead of 2000x (9/10 pays only 500x instead of 1000x, and even 8/10 only pays 50x instead of 100x)

This game is a good one to try. I like playing 4, 9 or 10 numbers.

There is also a keno on Platinum Touch 2 & 3's called Bonus Ball Keno which is a solid game to play. It was used on the Internet Cafe VS2 years ago and it offered many excellent payouts. This versions payouts are identical but they are set to about 93-96%. It differs based on where the JACKPOT is set (the $2000 plays far better than the $500) at but it is not worth playing for as you have to bet $2 a spin and 9/9, 9/10 and 10/10 already pay $250/quarter plus the bonus ball factor which you pick two numbers and if one of your numbers hits it pays you double and if you get both it quadruples it.

While all these kenos are fun they lack the fun you get at the casino where you can get keno games which have bonuses. Granted there is a local place near me that has a few game kings which have Cleopatra Keno and their payouts are set different on all 3 but the lowest one is higher than most Casinos around here and equal to others. However with only 3 machines it is hard to get on them when you have granny playing 3 of the 4 cards of four-card keno on 1 or 5 cent keno.

I play the numbers with the best payouts by looking at the pay tables. This dictates how many numbers I play.
