Personally I love going to Pechanga. The club promotions/offers are great & jackpots are obtainable. I won 3 jackpots within 2 months. Two for over $1000 and the third for $3000.

Would love to hear other experiences about California casinos.

I play in them quite a bit and I wished their comps were a little more comparable to other casinos it seems you might get a free meal but nothing like you know free complementary rooms at the hotels. They might offer you free drinks like soda and coffee but you have to pay for your alcoholic beverages the gambling is Okay I have hit a royal flush once playing video poker. Most of the older video poker machines have been removed and replaced with tons of large flashy slot machines so that sometimes it’s difficult to even find a poker machine anymore and when you do theyAre all filled

Agree Pachanga Casino is as close to the Las Vegas experience as one can have on Southern California.
Harrah's is nice, but the drive is longer. To San Bernadino and Greater Palm Springs has many smaller casinos. :)

Barona Casino is my favorite Indian casino. In my opinion, they have the best paying video poker machines and the friendliest staff around!

I played at Barona Casino for years, I believe over 21 years since the grand opening . my Gambling budget was about $ 6000 per year, and I after a few years I made it too the 2nd highest and level playing card and for awhile I was top GOLD , then after the Recession of 2008 they started to cut back ..started to take out the older keno and poker machines and replace them with lower higher wager pennies machine ..durning covid they shut down the BEST Indian casino BUFFET in CALIFORNIA . CUT CUT CUT .. my comps dropped from free room and a free meal and average $ 160 comp dollars a month to $ 10 comp dollars per month and no free room { unless gamble close to $800-1000 per session , and no food comps ,, AND they closed there Buffet. My vip Host was kind enough to prep me for the Management deiscions and changes .. they wanted my wife and I to Gamble a lot more , while at same time they CUT CUT CUT AND GIVE US LESS ... now I assume all the Casino did this , but again Barona casino was the only casino I ever attended . my estimate was I HAD    put over $ 150,000 dollars into that casino over the 21 years and I they TREATED ME JUAT AS A NUMBER .....

The new Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville is nice too and you can smoke there it has a non-smoking section but it's in an open section. But their KENO is not that great, I say they have less than 20 machines.

I recommend Tachi Casino. They have been updating it for a while and it has a lot more machines, plus has a movie theater and the cheapest gas. I'm a KENO player and Tachi Casino is my favorite, it has its own KENO corner. They also made BINGO in another building.
