I have only played in Vegas on the Strip which I know is not ideal. I have also seen some pretty bad pay tables but someone posted a link to the Green Valley Ranch (I think that's right) pay tables the other day and it looked like they had a lot of good pay tables there and also a lot of machines.So what I'm wondering is, in the entire country, are there some casinos that are well known or known by you to be really fantastic for video poker?This, to me, would include a lot of good machines, good pay tables, some comps,  and a good experience overall. I'm mostly concerned about video poker, not table games etc.I'd like to have some in mind just so that when I travel sometimes I can know if anything great is in the area that I might go out of my way for to have some fun.So... if you could sit down at any casinos in the country to play some video poker, what would they be?Thanks!

I hope there are some good finds resulting from your question E.  In Kansas City, Missouri, I know of only one casino that has a full pay game.  I think that (unless it's changed) Isle of Capri has full pay All American Poker at the quarter level.  They "may" have full pay Pick'em.Prairie Band (15 miles north of Topeka, Kansas) also had a few full pay All American Poker machines. But that's it in my part of the country if you discount a few 9/6 JOB machines in Oklahoma.

Got webman to change the username too!Isn't there a bunch of smaller places as good as Bryants in KC proper?I'm sure there are Ed.  BBQ is quite the thing in KC.  I go up there for one purpose...or I used to anyway and that as BJ and VP.  BJ is pretty much the same with the standard being 6-deck H17 with maybe 60% pen.  The VP is pretty much a wasteland up there now however.  A couple of casinos in that area have full pay All American Poker or USA Poker but that's about it unless something has changed.  Last look at vpFREE for KC substantiates that statement.  We are hoping that the introduction of competition in the form of Kansas Casinos will put the pressure back on AmeriStar, Argosy, Isle of Capri and Harrah'$ to loosen up a bit.

Eduardo, even though the schedules for VP is mostly short pay we have many Indian casinos here in California with Nevada manufactured machines.   In-fact there is probably one within driving distance of most major cities here. I don't know about deuces but most of them have at least a few 9/6 jacks at the quarter level and up.  Forget bonus games if you are looking for positive pay machines.  The closest is 9/6DDB and 9/6DB that I have seen. Although I have not looked too much since I pretty much play only DDB.  Vegas is definitely the place for Bonus games that I have been too.
 
I like to check them out and maybe buy a Teeshirt or some kind of souvenir even if I don't play much.  Thats my spin on it anyway...
