Hello Fellow Member's,
Heading to Vegas for our 1st time (25th Anniversary..) How my wife has put up with me for so long still amazes me. We are staying @ The Mirage I have gathered lot's of info on line about the surrounding Casino's off the strip & on the strip. What are people's experiences as far as Casino's. We are pretty much .25 max bet player's. Hey if everything work's out we can kick it up bit.. It all seems so overwhelming as far as all the different Casino's. Any suggestions I would love to hear them.

First time is mind blowing. Just see as much sights and sounds of the strip as time will allow. Take some good walking shoes and make gambling secondary this trip.
All casinos have 25 cent vp. But the first trip is going to amaze you. You will not believe your eyes that humans could construct a city like this.
Get your flu shot before you go.

I have to agree with OEJ! That place (Las Vegas) is just sensory overload! Try to take as much of it in as you can. You'll have time to plug the machines no doubt, but allocate as much as you dare to just rubber-necking!

And eating!
[/QUOTE] I like you Ginny! MFP, Vegas is also a culinary overload as well. It didn't get to be called sin city for the heck of it! Enjoy the sights, sounds, good food, good paytables and hopefully, good luck!

No, no, no. Pace yourself. Vegas is just too much for one trip. Pick out maybe one or two things a day you want do and stick to your plan. It's too easy to walk oneself into in a zombie like state searching for the next full pay machine/attraction at the next casino. The scale of Las Vegas is larger than to what we are accustomed. Beware. Hire a limo, cab or just ride the Deuce and see the strip lights at night. Amazing! The Master oej719 offers great suggestions. Please, take heed. Congratulations on your anniversary. Have a great time and don't forget the trip report. Great luck to you.

What's the Deuce? Is that the tram system? We are renting a car to do some sight seeing.
