Welcome to forum Tack77 and your very first post. Rest assured, you ARE in Greektown's system and they send out monthly info and more. There is probably a useful calendar awaiting you at their players club w some promos along the bottom pages - at least there has been the past few years. Punch in 7 on their machine key board to proceed to their bonus and comps earned. They will ask for your pin number.  Both buffet and snack bar will now accept your players card when you get the munchies. Self service beverage station is on 2nd floor opposite video poker rooms to left of Apollo Lounge, according to my husband. Windsor, MGM Detroit and Motor City also have installed these most welcome beverage bars. GL.

Thanks so much for your reply.  I don't mean to sound totally clueless but you said to punch in 7 on their machine keyboard to see their bonus and comps earned.  What machine are we talking about?  Is it something near the club greektown desk?  Thanks so much:)

Tack77..You have to look for the machines with the  keypads I believe..you have to look closely..because the key pads have seen a lot wear. What I'm not sure of.. which I know Marie can help us on is the touch screens..Good Luck..

Actually, I have not seen any touch screen key pads in the 2nd and 4th video poker rooms from the snack bar where my lucky machines reside. Sometimes the key pads do not work and another machine will work. Insert your players card and welcome "Tack77" will show up. Press 7 and you get options: press 1 for bonus. IF you have a $15. mailed bonus you will have to enter $5 three separate times. They no longer allow you to take that $15 out the door but must be played at that machine you chose. That buffet is a great deal for $9.99.If the weather is pleasant, I enjoy a shrimp cocktail or Italian beef from the snack bar and eating on the outdoor patio/roof top. It overlooks the activity on quaint Monroe Street and other rooftops. Cute little sparrows will hop on your table looking for a free lunch.

The comps at Greektown are a littler tighter these days imo. The food is easy enough to get though. The mailings with bonus play are decent. And they do give free rooms away if you just look at a machine. MotorCity seems to have a little better club. The mailing bonus play is about the same and the food comes quick. You seem to rack up more points overall. MotorCity's vp selection/payouts are better. They have a number of 9/6 DDB machine whereas Greektown only has 2 9/5 DDB machines. MotorCity did switch out all their triple hand machines and lost the TDB and DDBJW options, which I think was a bad decision for the players. Greektown also lowered the payouts on the $1 bartops...239cr for 4 of a kind (so sad).Even though Greektown has recently moved the vp out of the dank little room most machines were in, I think MotorCity is a better place overall for vp.Notice I didn't mention MGM...

Welcome to forum, mqsko! I appreciated your comments re Detroit casinos. YOU make me want to give Motorcity another chance! They mailed me flyer for b'day glasses but NO valentine box because I cannot remember the last time I played there. Caesar Windsor keeps enticing us across the border w FREE concerts that can get very expensive!
