Actually, that's a Urban Legend. Check out snopes.com. That story in its various forms has been around for a long time.
I was a little suspicious about Trucker's initial post about winning a $358K jackpot because no Saturday night jackpots of that size in AC were showing up on any of the reporting websites. But just now when I read his Urban Legend about the underaged gambler, I suddenly understood: Trucker is probably a really good guy, one of the best, who simply wants to inspire a bit of hope in all of us, and for that I thank him.

Rascal:
I just caught your post after I had posted a query to 1946 about the 358k win. I think your being kind in your comments. Let's keep the forum legitimate. There are plenty of blogs and chat rooms for the knuckleheads who need to tell ridiculous stories.

A few years ago I was at one of the local casinos with my best friend when she hit a $3000 winner at one of the local casinos, then found she'd forgotten her ID. The casino took her picture, and she went back the next day with her ID and got the money. The story reminded me of that.
I don't know if that's a policy that varies from casino to casino - at this place, my friend was told she just needed to come back with her ID within 30 days.

So this trucker1946 is or may not be telling the truth about his $358k win?

Hee, I was only two numbers away from winning hundreds of millions in the Powerball -- and I have a picture of the ticket to prove it. (We had four of the five white balls -- the fifth ball would have been worth $200,000 -- instead, we won $100.)

Once dealt 4 to the royal with 8x multiplier on a 5-play $1.00STP. Didn't get a thing on any hand.

Could've, would've, should've; all of us have stories about near misses; I've had more four's to the royal than I can remember (never on multui-play) and I have NEVER hit one from there. Have hit from two and three. Never been dealt one either.
