A LOT. Sorry I dont know the requirements because I did play there once last year putting around $22000 through one machine (I won $45 by the time I left) and I have never heard a thing from them.

This doesn't say what it takes to get a point. You can easily figure that out when you are there. http://www.bellagio.com/casino/players-club.aspx

Bellagio is part of the Mlife program (MGM and many more).   We've had free room offers from Bellagio (even though we had never gambled there before). It's a nice property but  we've never had any luck gambling there so haven't been back.

The Bellagio, along with the other MGM International properties, migrated to the MLife program about a year ago. The way that you migrate through tier levels is fairly straight forward (so many tier credits earned within a year), but the way that credits are earned varies with each property. That differs from the Total Rewards program from Caesars Entertainment (includes Harrah's), where you have tier credit earning potential the same across all their properties. The other feature of MLife is that you can earn credits with purchases of rooms, shows and meals, not just with gaming. Also, the higher level that you are within MLife, the faster you earn for gaming.
I am a NOIR with MLife, and a Seven Star with Caesars, the highest tier levels in each respective program (I'm just a sick puppy ). I live in Florida, so I like the portability of both programs as I visit locations around the country.
While I have not stayed at Bellagio, I play there nearly every Vegas visit. The VP is not too bad by "Strip" standards, although there is not a huge inventory of machines to play. They may have only one or two machines of the newest types of VP. Hope that helps.
