  I picked up a copy of a South Bend, IN newspaper last Friday and there was a small article in it reporting that the same band of Native Americans, the Potawatami, are petitioning the Bureau of Indian Affairs to get some land in South Bend, IN and they would then build a casino on this land.
 
  They also own Four Winds in New Buffalo MI and a new casino in South Bend would definately grab patrons from the other Northern IN casinos including Four Winds.
 
  Take this news with a grain of salt because it would be several years before a casino would open in South Bend when and after if it got approved.
