$10-$25/hand min. on 3/5/10 Play

We made our fourth trip to Golden Nugget Lake Charles and we need to update the VP machine situation after a more thorough search.
Previously listed:
2) 100 hand multi-demonination (standard and STP)
4) All Star Poker (STP, some 3/5/10- nine loaded with the standard 8 game IGT format for All Star.
Many single hand game machines,
2) Ultimate X
This trip we found 4 additional All Star machines with multiple options near the bars. These machines had multiple game options like most All Star games (which begs the question why don't the others have multiple game options like -spin, 3/5/10, STP, ...) We were told by the Director of Slots they didn't have the paperwork for the state inspectors to set up the All Star machines with multiple games and yet ...here were some.
Now the really serious question? The 3/5/10 play machines at the bar were multiple denominations -$2 & $5 machines. To play full play 3 hand you are playing a minimum of $10/hand or $30/hand on a 3 hand game with 96-97% pay tables. (if I recall 6/5 Bonus). Since I rarely play at the bar, and I assume most people play at the bar for drinks. Doesn't $10/hand seem a little excessive?
Thought I'd seek your input so I could share it with the Slot Director.
