Do they still have the quick Quads machine? There is one 25ct Quick Quads machine. I think it is 3/5/10 play. Sorry I don't remember the paytable. It's in the same area as the majority of their VP. We were there a couple of weeks ago. The new Guy Fieri restaurant is open and takes RCs at 1/1.

There's basically no playable vp at any Vegas Casears properties.Possibly because of bankruptcy considerations, you now need to go elsewhere for good video poker.
What do you consider no playable VP?

The trip was a total loss. Hit a few hands at Arizona Charlies, but gave it all back over time. The Rio sucked. I got 3 comps for the buffet, thinking I would get the sea food buffet. But nooooo. That would have cost an additional $75 for the 3 of us. $34+$25?No buffet in Vegas is worth $60!! The traffic on the strip was an absolute horror! I was in a 2-line right turn and cars were coming from all over the place, sneaking into the lines.I doubt we will go back anytime soon. If anything, Laughlin will be next.

So, what does a casino do to the machines to make them not playable? All I can think of is change the pay tables? Otherwise I'm just as likely to hit a royal on any one DDB game as I am on any other machine.

Yes it is the pay tables that make games at Caesar properties unplayable. There are much better VP games at casinos off strip.
Your odds of hitting a royal remain the same no matter where you play, but to beat the game over time you need better overall pay tables and Caesar properties come up short.

where are there pay tables that assure one they will beat the game over time?

I hear ya on the Ream-o. There is much better out here. If you decide to come back to Vegas, give Red Rock, Suncoast, or Rampart a shot. All are off the beaten path and have great VP! Laughlin is a lot more laid back, especially if you love the river like we do, but a lot of their VP paytables got rolled back or the games outright disappeared. Pick and choose wisely down there.
