Hard Rock in Tampa
I'm in Tampa this week. Is the Hard Rock worth checking out?

Me too! Not as good as the Hollywood Hard Rock. $10 for parking? Yikes!!

Hard Rock Hollywood is our favorite East Coast casino. Good VP odds, easy comp rooms and good comp point system. Definitely worth a visit...

That's where I won $800 bucks! I went into the casino to play big at the poker table and lost all of my money except for $1. walked by one of those slot machines and thought "what the heck?" and inserted my sad looking dollar and won $800. I went to the hard rock casino trying to earn money to get my mother a really nice birthday gift (I was a 22 college student at the time with minimum wage job) and nearly cried walking out with nothing. That big win will forever be embedded into my mind as the time luck was on my side and I got my mother her dream parlor set!!

Tampa Hard Rock seemed bigger than Hollywood Hard Rock, but there are plans for a billion dollar hotel at Hollywood so I assume they will expand the casino there also.

Parking is back to free at the TB Hardrock. I guess enough people complained. As for the Casino? Been there a bunch of time, never walked out a winner. Their player card program sucks. The free play will go away real quick if you don't use it. We have never been approached by a slot host. In fact I don't think they even have slot hosts. We are avid VP players and the HR just doesn't have enough machines. But I guess if you run the only game in town, you get what they give ya and be happy. The wife and I have decided not to go back. We'll travel to Vegas a couple times a year.

Good, but I prefer the Hollywood casino.
More machine options and hear more people winning

The Tampa Hard Rock Casino has been much improved lately. The $10 parking fee has been removed. They also opened a large separate non smoking casino. Construction is underway at both Florida Hard Rocks. Hopefully some new Tampa room comps will open up. VP odds aren't bad if you look around. Well worth a visit.
