The video poker in the casinos on the Canadian side is awful.

You did see my Jan.29 post with information on Seneca Niagara in your spring trip to NE thread, didn't you?

Sorry, I missed it.  I went back through the thread and found your post. 8/5 Bonus at 50 cents isn't bad at all.   The rooms on the Niagara website look reasonable as well.  It's definitely on our list.   Our trip will be sometime in late April.  No firm dates yet.

We plan to visit our daughter and family in Odenton, Maryland on the weekend of April20-22. We will be driving partway home on April 23, staying at Seneca Niagara that night. We plan to spend all of April 24 there as well , before leaving to complete our trip home on the 25th.

Seneca Niagara is still by far the best full service casino in NY. They have two different sections where you can find a full variety of VP games. The entertainment at night is great. They have a stage the is elevated over the entire main floor with what I would consider much better than your average bar bands appearing nightly. Drinks are free anywhere you play and that is not true at the new NY casinos. Smoking is also allowed in most area although there in a no smoking section. I think the food is good at the Three sisters cafe and the steakhouse is first class. They also have a Koi chinese restaurant based on the one at LA. Plenty of bars all over. It is definitely a big city crowd as well which you might not like if you're not accustom to it. The rooms in the hotel are first class.
