I haven't been to Biloxi in years. But I do know people who love it because it's smoke free.

The Palace is a nice casino.  Classier than most in Biloxi.  We prefer the Beau Rivage.  Not the best casino for VP, but definitely the nicest on the coast.  The people are wonderful and they treat us like valued guests.   If positive VP odds are your thing, don't play in Mississippi.  If you want an enjoyable entertainment VP experience, Mississippi will provide it.

Love the Palace due to their no-smoking policy!

Played there a little bit the last time we went.

We will be visiting Biloxi, Laughlin and Vegas quite a bit more now that Florida Prop #3 passed.

We will be in Biloxi for three days Christmas week. We are staying at the Beau Rivage. The VP odds in Biloxi are far from the best. That's not what Biloxi is about. Biloxi is about having a great time, great food, beautiful beaches and great people. Staying at the Beau is wonderful. You don't need to be a high roller and they are always happy to see us. We can't get the time of day in Vegas. Biloxi welcomes us with open arms.

Most of the comped players are seniors. They will fly us there and back, put us up for as long as we want to stay and fly us back if we take them up on their offers. Sure they make money on us. We want them to so they will invite us back. Here's a sign that hangs in their player's club. It says all you need to know.

Kinda disagree. We live 20 mins from Clearwater beach...one the best beaches in the world.
We go to the Casinos to at least break even. Walking out a winner is icing on the cake. We get our entertainment sitting at a VP bar, sipping free margarita's or bloody marys and hitting decent hands once in awhile.

So you want to lose so they'll invite you back? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Business transactions only work if both sides are winners. The Beau Rivage developers invested million of dollars into building their facility. They employ great people who obviously like working there. They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in flowers alone. They do everything they can to make our experience pleasurable. Why don't you want them to make money? Makes no sense.

I want all the casinos we visit to make money. I will take all the free flights, rooms, food and free play they want to give me. What I don't want is to pay more for the experience of gambling than it's worth. That amount is not the same for all players. At this time, playing single line quarter VP works for them and us.

The idea that beating the casino is the goal of VP comes from professional players. I am not in the business of playing VP for a living. If I were, I wouldn't play there either. If I receive everything I want at a fair price, I am happy. A three day visit to the Beau Rivage is like a first class trip to Disney World only they give me a chance to win my money back.

In our view, too much emphasis is put on making a profit from VP and not enough on the enjoyment of playing the game.
