Any good VP in ND/MN?

Post by Mr_Black13 »

Hi, I'm from Manitoba, and I take trips down to the border usually in ND as it's only about an hour away. I tried looking up info on vpfree2 and not a whole lot of info on either ND/MN as those states border my province. Nothing on ND and only Mystic Lake for MN, odd considering that there are a lot of casinos in MN. Is there anybody in the area that might comment on the quality of VP in those states, or are they so bad that it was hardly worth really mentioning? I've also been pondering a trip to Deadwood SD and according to vpfree2 there looks to be one or two casinos that are fairly decent.

You won't find any VP in MN greater than 98% by law. I live in the Minneapolis area, mainly a quarter player, and prefer to play VP at either Treasure Island by Red Wing or Grand Casino Hinckley. Both have 9/5 DDB with 97.87% payback. A lot of 8/5 at TI, but 9/5 can be found. I also play Deuces Wild with a 97.58% base return but increases to 97.85% with Super Times pay available. GC Hinckley has very good payback at nickel and dime denoms also. Mystic Lake has poorer VP with most DDB being 7/5, except for high limit. 6/5 SDDB is the best game there at 97.69%. I have never been to the NW Minnesota casinos like Shooting Star or 7 Clans Casinos that are closest to Manitoba.
