Video Poker Forum

We are going to Council Bluffs early April.  I was wondering which of the casinos has the best video poker.  We played last year at Horseshoe and it did not have anything outstanding. I ended up playing mostly blackjack on that trip. 
Our plans are to take our daughter-in-law out to the casino for the first time.  She turns 21 on April 7 and we will be there a few days later and thought nice birthday gift for her.

I haven't played there in 3-4 years but at that time there were no positive games. I believe the best game at the time was a 9/6 DDB progressive at the Ameristar. Based on the vpfree database it appears it may still be there.

wilcox...I only play there (Harrah's) when I am passing through and need a room as it's late at night....I didn't know anything about pay tables when I last played there (thanks to you people I am a bit more educated).   In three short stays there I have hit four deuces twice on DW $1 (progressive pay at the time) and aces w/a kicker on their DDB $1 progressive which was also a progressive ~ so three trips and three W-G's.  Maybe if I had had longer to play I would have lost it all but my experiences have been great and I love the rooms at Harrah's.

Wilcox - Harrahs best, Small room top floor.  You will find all types of V.P. machines, take your pick.  We do good on every trip.  Good Luck!

We are planning on going April 9 to the casino. Probably will go after 4:30. I would like to take daughter-in-law to Harrahs and to Horseshoe that day.  We also found out this weekend she is expecting a baby! Our son was walking on the ceiling when he called us!

plus in ac,harrahs has 42"plasmas,can watch world series of poker or something,if your budget is tight!
