THANKS  Welcome to metro Detroit! You will have fun exploring all FOUR of the Metro Detroit - Windsor casinos. Bring Harrah's card and passport OR driver's license and birth certificate for Windsor-Caesars and take the tunnel or Ambassador Bridge over, both just off Jefferson. MGM (Third, off Bagley) and Motor City (Grand River)  are on either side of the Lodge (10), S of 94, but you CANNOT walk between them. Park on first floor for MGM and 3rd floor for both GreekTown and Motor City if you wish to enter casino floors directly. Log on Motor City casino and scroll way down to blue DIRECTIONS at bottom of listing. You will find your favorite machines. Game King, STP, Super Times Pay, Spin, single to 100 play, etc. Check out the pay tables as they do vary within a given casino. Enjoy the People Mover loop from Greektown 2nd floor. Probably 4 miles, 14 brief stops, $.50 exact change required, half hour ride with city scape and water front views. Check out the sports section for when TIGERS and RED WINGS are playing to avoid heavy game traffic - you'll know it when you see it!

Marie,  after being down here in NC for about three years is when I woke up to the fact that there isn't any traffic reports.  Use to live and die with them. Let's see did an idiot tip a Tanker on the I75 ramp Northbound , did someone mess up and cause a pile up at I696, what E-Way is shut down for rebuilding, do I go by the way of the Lodge or the Davidson. Going to Windsor , is it Friday and every truck in the world is parked on I75 waiting to get to the Ambassador Bridge and Jefferson Downtown is tied up like you won't belive. Ah, all just a fading memory now. Don't miss the traffic report at all.

MFP it isn't really that bad. Enjoy and win big!

Thanks faygo, for destroying all the good about the metro Detroit area I am trying to build up - How could I forget to warn MFP about the car-eating pot holes? You can slow down if you see them in time, but I've heard tell people will honk or use sign language if you swerve in their lane unexpectedly to avoid them! Of course, it's worse if you're behind the truck that is patching them! They probably did not have those flashing signs on I 75 noting where the lane blockages are, when you were here. They really help distract drivers! Actually, the population is decreasing as people are seeking jobs elsewhere. Great deals on housing these days but unfortunately this is happening in other parts of the country as well. We travel all over the states but have yet to find the perfect spot for relocation.
