Anyone know if there are any casinos around Washington, D.C. - or Northern Virginia/Maryland?  Probalby within an hour or so of D.C. would be best...

I'm going to be in D.C. for a week or so this summer and finding a nearby casino would be great!

Thanks in advance for any tips....

My son lives in VA and I would probably know if there were any casinos there. Colonial Downs at New Kent offers races, no slots or tables. Log on to Washington DC casinos and Maryland casinos. Check out the web site for the US Senator from your area. They can offer tour ticket assistance for US Capitol, Supreme Court, Bureau of Engraving and Printing and White House, preferably 30 days in advance for limited number of tickets. They probably have more DC tourist info on their web site.

I believe the closest Casino you will find is in Delaware. It is called Dover Downs and as the name implies is in Dover. They have a web site. I don't know the exact site name but you could Google it. it might give drive times.  Other than that, the next Casinos would be up in Philly. Hope this helps.
