Can anyone tell me anything about the game assortment and pay tables at the new Aria Las Vegas? Headed there in a couple of weeks and am curious specifically about VP and the casino in general. Thanks everyone and GOOD LUCK ALWAYS!!

I was there in March. The casino looks like a dimly-lit Palms. There was little there in VP of the multi-line variety. I would probably not return to play - Bellagio has better VP oprtions, and that's where you can catch the tram to go to Aria.

I played at Aria in January and April.  I had good luck in January and then lost in April.  There are plenty of Game King multi-games at the $1/$2/$5 machines.   Aria's JOB: the paytable is only 9/5 at $1 and $2 level (not full pay). You can find 9/6 JOB at the $5 level.

I like the Aria, but the music is way too loud.  They claim that the loud music is part of the ambiance, but I prefer a casino that's a little quieter.

Just returned from an enjoyable stay at the Aria. Received three comp nights and found the entire property to be first class. Great high tech rooms with very comfy beds. Very courteous staff, comfortable casino with no smoke odor unless you are playing next to a smoker. Many restaurant options although a bit pricey. VP is only average with not a lot of game choices, for example, no multi-strike or super times pay. Pay tables in the 8/5 range for quarters. Did hit 4 aces w/kicker and other quads playing double double bonus several times so although we did not come back winners I was able to bring a significant chunk of our bankroll home. Also hit a quad on 4X multi-strike at the Bellagio which does have an overall better assortment of games but paytables that are also weak. All-in-all a very good trip that included Jersey Boys (fantastic show) and a less than we expected Elvis show at the Aria. Good show, just not great. If you are a design freak like I am the Aria and City Center in general are worth a slow walking tour. We will return.

A friend and I were at the MGM Grand in March 2010. We had stayed there before and liked it. This time, there were not as many VP options as in the past. The MGM had expanded the slots space, at the expense of the VP options. We won't stay there again.

Good video poker on the strip is very hard to find and if you do it will likely be in high denominations. Best bets are off strip and downtown.
