Greetings all,

Was wondering if anyone can offer some insight on this place. I will be going there this coming weekend with a bus trip from the local Fire dept.
Never been there and hear the pay tables aren't so hot.
Any decent VP there at all?
I have been on a bad luck streak all year, so figured why not give this place a shot. Gotta try and stretch a $400 bank roll for six hours some how. Yeah dreamin' I know.

Thank You.

Welcome to the forum paco13.

According to VPfree2 database there is not any good VP. Someone who plays there will hopefully respond.

Yeah, I saw that. Unfortunately after I agreed to go and bought the tickets, lol. Maybe I'll have to stick with the penny slots and hope for the best. Beats rakin' leaves anyhow.

Thanks LL

Another option might be to find a low denomination multi-hand machine 50-100 play and play more low denomination hands to spread out the losses. We have friends who also play lots of 100 X 1 hands for the same reasons. They give up the RF payoff but can expand the number of hands.

Good luck.

Trip was cancelled due to not meeting minimum ticket sales.
Decided to drive to Mount Airy instead. 2hrs. each way, 40 minutes of play dbldbl super times trpl play. The bad luck continues.

Funny you should ask about Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs. My husband and I were there this past Saturday. I played $.25 DDB single hand, and I did quite well. I started with $100 and cashed out over $600 in vouchers. The people around where I was playing were getting four of a kinds like crazy. I got two straight flushes (which is not easy without jokers) as well as several four of a kinds in LOW numbers with kickers. No aces this time, but I still did quite well. The night before we had gone to Mt Airy and I lost a lot on video poker. Not ONE four of a kind. Thankfully I won it back at Mohegan. I can't wait to go back!

Personal experiences differ, that's for sure.

Nice. That's the way to do it. Maybe they heard I wasn't coming and turned the machines back up, lol
They rescheduled the trip for Dec. 1st. Not sure if gonna go. Mount Airy VP went to crap after they put the table games in.Lowered the pay tables and comps, stopped going for a while, but figured what the hell. Shouldn't of played the triple play STP either I guess. Used to do good there on Dollar DDB When it was 10/6. Any more though seems no matter what you play it just kills you fast. I'll check out Mohegan Pocono next time I get the urge to take a midnight ride.
