Sorry you didn't do so hot, but obviously that joker is a pretty big deal.

And yeah, I only saw one of these machines. I think it's the only time I have ever seen the single hand version of the game in any casino, fwiw. I've seen the multihand version of the game a lot including at Hammond. That game seems to lower the 2-4s bonus to 235 credits from 300, so "full pay" games match up with their standard poker counterparts.    I want to say I checked the paytables there at one point, and don't recall them being good. But I didn't double check last week.

Dammit, I really, really need to stop playing play money. Sorry you couldn't hit this tonight.

Fortunately I bricked 5 more 4 to a Royal draws, if I would have hit one of those while playing, I probably would have really went ballistic. I'm on an 18 month casino Royal drought; it's getting a bit old.

I've been proudly sporting my HH Blackhawk t-shirt too! It cost me $700. Blazed through $600 on the 9/6 DDB $1 progressive, then $100 on some nickle machine. $700 only lasted me an hour. Blasted variance, seems like my luck has been absolute feast or famine lately. After this poor outing and a wretched Vegas trip, my gambling money is gone for many months.

Ugh, sounds like that shirt was made of gold!    Hopefully things turn around the next time you get back out there!

But to play decent VP at the Shoe, you definitely do have to gamble dollars minimum. Disappointing.

Apparently maybe I shouldn't have blabbed about the deal/draw game. They yanked the $1 denomination from it. Someone probably got a dealt royal on it, maybe two. Damn paranoid CET jerks.

Well, now I have to hold you personally responsible for not losing a ton of money on $1 Deal/Draw in Hammond on my next trip up there, which of course, will not happen until your weather gets better.

When I got the dealt RF on a 3-line $1 Deal/Draw at The Beau Rivage in Biloxi, the WHOLE ROW of 4 machines was gone by my next trip..

FYI, the cycle for picking the Joker is 1 in 14,578 hands. So you'd like to have at least 3 of them by the 40k hand mark.So far I've played 5,000 hands and got 14 four of a kinds for a total of 19 bonus cards.  I picked a joker on my 11th card.  I haven't had a royal yet (obviously) and I haven't been dealt a four of a kind yet (on the deal).If I knew how to post a picture, I'd show you a few of my hits.

You gotta host the pics on a place like www.photobucket.com and use "image tags".

The code for a picture looks like this:

{img}www.photobucket.com/your_account/your_pic.jpg{/img}

But instead of { } you use [ ].

Glad to hear you got a joker fairly early. Hope it keeps up!
