Sam's Town is a good place to play if you like "Full Pay" Deuces Wild.

Many locals play at Main Street Station downtown.  I am not a local but that is where my wife and I stay everytime we go to Las Vegas which is about four times a year.  They have a number of 25 cent real quarter machines.  My favorites are Treasure Chest, 9/6 Jacks for Better and 8/5 Bonus Poker.  We went to Sam's Town last year for a quick visit and they have none of the games I mentioned above in 25 cent hand fed quarter machines.  We quickly headed back to Main Street Station which is also a Boyd Gaming casino. Have done very well there over the last five years with only one losing year out of the five.

Red Rock Casino off the strip.  It's a cool place and where the slots and video poker machines are more friendly.  Also,  the casinos on Fremont street.

My Aunt and Uncle live there 6 months a year. When I visited them back in April they took us to Fiesta, M and South Point. The M is very nice but I found the best games at Fiesta and South Point. Neither of these is terribly far to drive. They live out near Nellis and we got to all of them in roughly 30 minutes or less.

Great timing for this question as I plan to move there in April and often wondered the same. I also just read an article that many locals prefer the local bars that have VP machines. Seems that there are many and open 24/7.
