Atlantic city!

Post by Bobbi »

Anything good out in Atlantic City - Used to live back east - back when AC first opened up to gambling - wondering if there is anything worth the trip now. The ocean is calling me......

When are you planning on your trip? Several casino's have closed on the boardwalk. I stay at the Borgata. The Tropicana is still there. They will be opening a VP poker bar VERY soon. Golden Nugget remodel the old Trump Castle/Marina very nicely. Harrah's, Bally's, Ceasar's, and Resorts are also there. The AC airshow is on Sept. 2nd this year. The Blue Angels will be there this year. Last year they had about 700,000 in attendance. Any place on the beach is a good seat. There are 2 beach concerts coming up. I think that will be in front of Bally's.This may help you find out what is going on. www.acweekly.com .. This was the old "Whoot " magazine..

I would spend a ton of time on the beach were I not a mere day tripper. You have the right idea. Keep your sessions short or your bankroll will be short. It's your choice. Short Session or Short Bankroll. At least that's how the last thirty trips have played out for me. How many miles away are you?

I would be coming out of Colorado - I know - Vegas is closer but I really miss the ocean - originally from New York - Miss being an east coaster - everything was in a few hours drive.. now land locked :(
