Reno - GSR vs Peppermill

Post by xavi1951 »

Just visited the Grand Sierra Resort and Peppermill Resort in Reno NV.  GSR has a few 96 JoB machines in the High Roler section only ($1 min).  All the others are 85 machines.  Peppermill was full of 96 machines (5¢,10¢,25¢, $1,$5).  What a difference that 2% makes.  Also, the Peppermill was very clean, busy, and well maintained while GSR is really run down.

I was very impressed as well with Peppermill. Good pay tables and a beautiful building as well.

Haven't been there in years but still have a fond memory of abundant full pay VP and decent slot club perks. FWIW we stayed at Atlantis (courtesy of an online VP contest thru this site) but visited downtown and heard good things about Peppermill. There's still a quite good sushi and fish place in the walkway between the parking lot and Atlantis afaik.

From someone who goes often you can't beat Atlantis. The best casino Reno has to offer. A huge variety of Video Poker, the best high limit area also. As for GSR and Peppermill. Peppermill is far superior than GSR in every way. I have stayed at all of these places many times.

I think Peppermill has the best play esp for 25 cent triple play they have nsu deuces 99.8- i think silver legacy still has 4 single play multigames with full pay deuces 100.7
