Ted, CK and Otabill,

Thanks for the input. We hope to make our run in mid-May as soon as I close out the semester so i can bucket list my first sail plane ride and our first hot air balloon ride.

LL Lots of hot air ballooning in metro Phoenix. Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks for the input everyone. Reservations for Wild Horse Pass casino confirmed after our stay in Sedona area. May try Flagstaff casinos one night while in Sedona area. Then back to Phoenix for my sailplane ride.

Tedlark/Otabill, plans are to hot air in Sedona. If that falls through then Phoenix. Changed NM plans due to decision to fly versus drying out there. We'd lose a whole day driving the 800 miles from Houston to El Paso, Texas.

Cliff Castle Casino is located between Phoenix and Sedona. No idea about VP there but it is consistently rated the best casino in AZ according to their advertisements(by whom I don't know.). Twin Oaks, east of Flagstaff on the Navajo Reservation, is the newest casino in AZ. No idea about the VP. Never been to either so hopefully someone can provide more info. Have a safe and rewarding trip.

Larry,
Twin Arrows is a VP waste land and the food isn't cheap.

Better games down the road at Camp Verde. Take the Middle Verde Road exit when heading to Phx. IIRC Exit 289.

Give me a heads up if possible when heading down the mountain.

Knight,
Thanks for the information. Somewhere Sweet C saw Twin Arrows or Castle Cliff had 100% VP. Figured a trip to Observatory and casino to add to our Casino Card collection.

Sweet C is currently Gold level send us a PM so we can contact. Trip in next couple of weeks.
