www.vpfree2.com will give you the most current information.
Check it while you are there as games change.
Overall, Aquarius seems the best, but it depends on your game.
I believe it's player club is linked to Arizona Charlie's and the Strat.

Bill is right. They have a double bank of machines at Aquarius that have full pay games. They are only at the quarter denomination. I was at Laughlin at the end of March. Overall the VP is nothing great.

As was stated above, it depends on what you like to play. For single line quarters, Aquarius is probably the best choice. And, yes, they are affiliated with Arizona Charlies and the Stratosphere.

Also at Aquarius, you can play a $1 10/7 double bonus progressive.

Riverside has 50c and $1 NSU deuces, and the Laughlin River lodge has $1 NSU deuces.

There are several places, including Harrahs and Tropicana, with 8/5 bonus poker at $1, $2, and higher, denominations.

Laughlin, Nevada, I'm guessing you're getting a comp and will be staying at Harrah's. My wife and I went there a couple of years ago for a week. By far my Laughlin trip was the worst I have ever experienced in my 30 years of playing video poker, never have I seen such bad vp for an entire week. We finally rented a car and drove into Vegas where I got back some of my losses. I wished I could offer up some advice as to where to play in Laughlin but I can't, I got destroyed at every casino except for The Aquarius. If I ever go back I'll stay away from $2 and $1 denomination vp, I'll only play .25. I wish you well and hope you have better luck than we did.

The Trop used to have some decent video Blackjack for $2 a hand. Bad VP. Most of the town is pretty bad for VP.
If staying at Harrahs, try the non-smoking bar. Same bad games but the bartenders are fun.

We are heading to Laughlin, as well - for a four night stay at Harrahs next week. We fly from Buffalo late Monday afternoon, and return to Buffalo on Friday.

Despite keeping our fingers crossed, and hoping for the best, our recent visit to Laughlin itself did not go particularly well.

Our first session on 50 play deuces wild bonus nickels was a total disaster, with my wife and myself dropping $600 each. Things did get a little better for her after that, but not for me. I finished the day at -$1050 on a combination of the 50 line nickels and some 25c multiline deuces wild.

My second day wasn't much better, as a dropped a further $600 on one session of 50 line nickels and two of 25c multiline.

To add to my misery, while I was taking a break in our room in the afternoon, the fire alarm went off. So, I dutifully walked down 18 flights of stairs to the ground. It took about 3 days for my calf muscles to calm down after that and stop mooing at me!

My third day on the 50 line nickels was an absolute fantastic turnaround. I played for a bit under two hours in the morning, and finished $900 ahead. I had seven royal flushes in that session. I played again in the evening, for about the same length of time, and, while hitting fewer royals ("only") four, finished up $1100, due to some very nice dealt hands.

So, for the day on the 50 line deuces wild bonus game, I was up $2000. I had eleven royal flushes in a little over 101000 hands, for an average of one per 9200 hands.

Unfortunately, sandwiched between those two great sessions was an afternoon visit to Aquarius, where I lost a total of $650 on various 25c games (mostly multiline 8/5 bonus poker).

Adding it all together, I finished down $300 in Laughlin. My wife did poorer than that, ending up down $1000.

Fortunately for us, before returning home, we made our fairly usual stop at Seneca Niagara for a two night stay. Between us, we had three royals on the 50c five play bonus poker machines we play there (two by her). She was $3500 up at Seneca, while I, despite my royal, was still down a bit (-$200).

All told though, we finished the trip up $2000. Considering how bleak our prospects looked early on, we were extremely happy.

Even so, we were probably not as happy as the gentleman we saw at the 5 line 50c machines when we arrived at them Sunday morning. He was playing a really poor game, 8/5 triple double bonus poker, but I don't think he really cared, as he had been dealt four aces plus kicker, and was awaiting the delivery of his $10,000. He said that the only reason he was even at the casino was that his golf game had been rained out.
