Friends, I'm heading to Des Moines, Iowa this Labor Weekend for my nephew's wedding and will have a few hours Saturday. I know there's a casino (Prairie Meadows) in Altoona (a suburb). I'll have a car and can easily drive from my hotel (west Des Moines). Does anyone have any info on it? Good assortment of video poker games? Or are there other casinos within a 20-30 minute drive that I don't know about?

Any info greatly appreciated.

I haven't been to Prairie Meadows since September 2017, but I am remembering 9/6 DDB with the less variant games a bit lower with 7/5 bonus poker and 9/5 JOB.
