                                     Hey Aliasyoshi,
Sorry, sorry, sorry.  My father and I are planning a trip out there in June, and I shall do my best to remember this time around!

With so much going on and so much to see and do let alone VP and Nightlife, It's easy to overlook simple things you may have intended to do but not necessarily high on your priority list. Relax and Enjoy LV as the Sin City it was intended to be experienced as, then go look for the horse racing game. My brother-in-law lives about 20 mins away but refuses to go near the strip unless he has to.

I'm quite confident that when you return in June, you'll make time to go gander in the MGM to see if theres still a horse racing game. I recall something similar walking in from the parking structure down one of those long corridors. There by a bunch of vendor kiosks was a horse racing game. Could have been Ballys or MGM, not sure and it was so long ago now, but it was quarters because my buddy stopped and played a few dollars because he didn't make it to the sports book that afternoon and he wanted to get his horse racing fix for the day! Furthermore, I hope you hit quad deuces again whether its NSUD or DDB you happen to play.

Thanks for the well wishes!  I believe it was a LDW machine.  One of those up at Fiesta Rancho.  It was only a nickel machine, but still was pretty sweet!  And I hope to make it to MGM in June to get my horse racing fix!

My boyfriend could play this stupid horse racing game for hours. Sorry for calling it stupid for those of you who enjoy it, but you should see the giddy look on his face.  I could throw up. But hey, he's having fun.

Delora, which is more important? Spending the time together or having him entertained while you concentrate on your VP play? Coin toss ladies?

I'm sure that depends on the lady in question. In my case I try not to even see him in the casino but he's always gawking and checking in on how I'm doing like I'm going to give him a cut or something. He needs it the way he plays.

Interesting that more than a few would prefer not to be around their mate/spouse/partner while playing VP. Bob Dancer once said the casino patron likes a nice quiet ride to and from their destination and the VP player would rather do the driving. I like the drive and prefer not to be bothered while playing VP. My sometimes VP partner easily gets distracted and I told her to mind her own screen! This made her angry as she's a real busybody.

I used to play a similar game many years ago (15+) at the MGM Grand. It was a fun time and you could play forever on a few quarters. My wife and I would compete which added to the fun. The game you're referring to may be an update to the old game. I haven't seen one in quite awhile. If I do see one I'll post its' location.

I think the game I used to play was called Sigma Derby (or something close to that).
