What is this Bellagio chip?

Post by Eduardo »

Silver on the outside, copper or bronze in the center. About an inch and a half big, heavy. It says Bellagio on it.Anyone know what it would be?

I thought poker chips usually have denom on them. Maybe it was given out as souvenir when Bellagio opened. (Orleans gave out silver and gold colored metal dubloons - large coin or poker chip size, at their opening. Believe the traffic jams and intense crowds inside that night!) Google: Bellagio poker chips. Try eBay and craigslist.org to see if anyone has one listed there. Ask at Bellagio next trip or email them a photo. There is a Vegas museum for older items at back, lower level of Tropicana. This chip may be too new to qualify. There is a huge spin wheel outside in front across from Excalibur and another on upper level entrance from MGM where one always wins coupon for deck of cards or museum pass. Once we won two tickets to Follies Bergere, a great show. However, we had to catch a plane home and handed them to the next person in line.

Eddie my friend,
Send it to me and I will have some people in my loop check it out for you at no cost to you.
Could be treasure or just junk. I will let you know.

Maybe there wasn't enough room for all the zeros?

Can you "scan" it and post the image (front and back)?

Or in a library book? Or in a burrito?

You couldn't have found it under OEJ's mattress for sure because the guards would have snagged it during shakedown. Perhaps CDdenver left it as a welcome to LV gift for you to find. Shadowman would have just handed it to you and Faygo would have scanned it and sent you the image instead. Me? I would have cashed it in and sent you the metal $1 gaming token.

If it was found under a mattress or in a library book it's worth exactly $700 and belongs to clown2 or marie. If it was in with dirty laundry, rfonlymama wants it back! Newer members should be really confused due to posts before their time.
