Hot Shot Progressives

I have been playing this penny slot game.  Max cost $1.50 a spin and you will have chance to hit the progressive if you are playing max.  You will still get the bonus if you are only playing smaller amounts just cannot hit the progressives.  There are five different progressive bonus.

If I cannot get on a quarter video poker or nickel progressive video poker I usually try to play this game.  Sometimes go for the bigger bucks and most of the time just play $.30.  I like the fact I can play for quite a time on these without spending a huge amount of money.  If I am playing $1.50 it is gone way too quick so have to build up for a time before trying a few larger bets.

Have hit $300 on them at best so really prefer going with the video poker but nice break.  Presently at the casino I go to it is at $17,000 plus for top prize and it usually gets around $19,000 before paying.

Keep in the fact that most slots payback around 90% +|- 5% and this includes the top prize. So, the higher the top prize the worse the return for the other winning combinations.

I read that a vast majority of slots $1 denom and under, payback 94% and less. Sounds about right since there's no strategy involved. Just pure luck.

I wish we had more choices here to play video poker but so often we have 6/5 JOB's so it is tough to find a decent game.  Love to go over to Horseshoe Indiana as they have 9/6 JOB's quarters, fifty cent, and dollar machines.  Good amount of them so not hard to play there.  I usually go there with more money and come home with it as well!

I am pretty sure that this slot pays about 85% as it does not pay great just gives you time to play for a while which is good.

We just approached our closest casino to add some decent 1¢/2¢ or 5¢ multi-hand machine away from the filthy 5¢ bar tops. Trying to play 50-100 hands on a small screen with low odds is crazy. We shared how their competitor has 99% return 50/100 play 5¢ machines and that the machines are full all the time.   Hopefully, they will give it some consideration as the other casino has a number of players who play 100 play/$25/hand all day long.   Several regulars (truck drivers) will sit for 12-16 hours just playing. They start with $500 and play 100 a deal. With the 99% returns and 99.81% Dbl DW they go crazy.   Not unusual to see one in particular, Ray, who spend up to 16 hours-bring his lunch even, playing and have one or two hand pays a day.

Playing last night I hit one RF for $200 while playing only 10 hands which matched what I had dedicated for the quick trip.

I have just discovered at our Casino a Progressive Slot Machine. For the first time in my 20 yrs of playing Video Poker I have walked in and only played this new slot machine. omg I LOVE it!! Least you can bet is 25cents a hand and you still have a chance at winning the Grand Pay of $3000.00.  On this particular game you have 4 progressives starting at mini $10, minor $75, major $500 and grand $3000.  I have been hitting the mini's and 2 minors, it is way too much fun!

You can only hit the progressives when you are in a free game mode. When you hit the 3 scatters you get 15 free games and often you get a retrigger, so you have 30 chances to get the mini, minor, major or grand pay. Well heck sorry to go on and on about it, but just discovered it and am having a blast, and well heck the FREAKING video poker is just not paying lately.

Last year I saw a woman win $40000 progressive on the Hot Shot penny game at Empire in Yonkers!
