pick five

Post by cook1947 »

Approximately, 10-12 years ago, there was a video poker game called Pick Five. I know that it was at the Orleans in Las Vegas as it was there that I played it. The game was manufactured by the Williams Corporation. I have been trying to find one of these video poker machines to purchase, but have had no luck at all. Does anyone know where I could find these machines? Do they destroy these machines after they pull them? I know that the Grand Casino Hinckley, in Minnesota, had alot of them. I would appreciate any help at all. Thank You

I'd first check with WMS corporation and then google used VP machine dealers.

Thank you Larry. I was finally able to contact WMS and sent an email and also have contacted various used dealers. One emailed me back. I will see what happens. Do you know what happens to these machines when they are taken out of circulation? Do they destroy them? I have not had much luck talking with anyone who ever saw these Pick Five. There were 8 of them at the Orleans, right next to one of the bars, right down the row from the ice cream parlor they had. They were wonderful to play, because you were able to pick ALL the cards to make your hand. I hit 4 or 5 royals on them, and always walked away winning something. Same with the Sneek Peek. Had them at Binions in LV, and still have them at Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Plaza in AC.

I don't think you can set them up for coin play in most places only tokens - at least that is what I've heard. I'd also try to get to know a slot tech who might help maintain or show you how to maintain your machine,

I've always wanted one for here at home with multiple games.
