Saw this article...
The Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel in Cherokee, N.C., is looking to hire 500 employees following the approval of a compact between the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the state allowing table games and dealers at the casino by September. "As soon as it happened, we had to really put on the fast track to get everything up and going," said Jo Blaylock, vice president of human resources and external relations at Harrah's. The casino, which is managed by Caesar's Entertainment Corp., will be holding a pair of job fairs later this month.

That should liven things up a bit..

Billy, rule #1 if you get hired, no touching the patrons.

You can't gamble where you work, so I'm not gonna waste my time with the job fair.

Part of the delay in implementing live cards has been the personnel issue.  They sorely need qualified dealers.  All in all though, I'd say Harrah's Cherokee has done a great job with its expansion.  Now if I could find that loose machine .....

I think it is right where you left it - in Hi Limit. I think 3 RFs qualifies as 'loose'.

I knew that statement would come back to bite me.  Yes, 2 rf's on same machine an hour apart was an incredible experience, but we're a greedy bunch, aren't we?  Where were my aces?  I want more, more, more (evil laugh).

The nice thing about casinos is that they will ALWAYS give you the opportunity to try and beat them again.

Funny thing.  My wife and I are staying at the Cherokee casino for a couple of days next week. Nice little place with pretty scenery.  Anyway,  got a Royal when I was there a couple of months ago.  Looking for a repeat.

Phil, if you and your wife are there on Monday, July 16th, please come by The Brio @ 8 PM. Some folks from this site will be there, and we are having a group hug.

We would love to meet you..

Yes Phil, if you're there on the 16th, please try to hook up with us.  Brio is new since you were last there.  It's on the 2nd floor of the casino (take escalator at the rotunda, which is also new!)  Hope our dates coincide
