Re: Slot machine advantage play

Met a few out of town advantage slot players over the weekend. As they only play in Vegas one week a year, they were kind enough to spread some of their wealth of information. Haven't used it yet, but it was very generous of them and much appreciated.

Yes it opens up a whole new world when in a casino. Oportunties are there.

I must say I was very surprised by some of the games they gave me. A few I felt were right for vulturing
weren't on their list. Not that I was wrong about them being playable, but their games are better.
I think there may be a new class of Advantage Slot Players if this keeps up. It reminds me of when Wonging was first catching on.

Mickey Crimm makes a living off of advantage slots and keno progressives.

Last month, a certain progressive got pretty high and it seemed like every pro I ever met was chasing it.
Last week a local chain ran a ridiculous promo, few people pursued it and almost everyone I watched misplayed it. It was funny as I dropped $300 in about ten minutes and was questioning if I'd messed up the math but two hours later cashed out up $700. My friend, who insisted I was wrong, ended up winning $150 in the same time period and still contends his play was better.

I know what you mean Bill. I have been on many good plays only to lose money. But as you know if the odds are in your favor over time you will be ahead and make it all worth while.

You also raise a good point in that just because it is advantagous you still have to know how to play it.

I’m trying to learn as much as I can about advantage play. New to the Forum, any tips are greatly appreciated.

Video poker can have advantages but you can figure this out by checking the pay table and any casino bonuses or offers available at that time. Together they must be above 100% to be advantage. ( You probably already know this)

Slots are much different as the pay table is unknown. So to gain an advantage you must look for other things such as things left on the screen that are still playable. Only a few slots are advantagous and they do not always have an adavantage, only in certain situations. I know this does not tell you a lot but you can google and find some more info. If you look back on this thread I did mention just a few advantage slots. Do your homework.

A few A Ps took online Jersey casinos to the bank, to the tune of millions of dollars. I can't believe online casinos have penny slots for thousands of dollars per spin.

Looks like casinos still make mistakes in 2019! The slot guys made over $900,000 in a few days.
