Okay, that error is indeed a connection speed error and not a session error. That could be partly on your end due to the dial-up but also on our server, which can experience slowdown at times, or the internets which like to slow down themselves due to routers. What it means is your play is getting ahead of the storage mechanism by too great a margin. I will increase the buffer but you may wish to verify that your score has updated in the "nearest scores" area before closing the game.

Thanks for your work on this little issue of it seems only me.
By the way, Tangueray told me this AM that "we are not playing with a full deck".

I just had another timeout. Wouldn't you know it came right after I was dealt a WRF for 6250 credits (which never made it to the server). Not only that, but when it came back it used the last server value as well so the credits are kaput.
BTW, this is on a high speed connection.

Let me see if there have been any server interruptions. The down side to increasing the time before a timeout is people will get more hands played before it notifies them of the timeout, so more hands go unrecorded in the event that there is an interruption.

I have'nt had any such luck today. All of my crappy scoring has been accounted for.

Same here. I'm sorry for anyone who lost a high score, but this morning I was hoping mine would get dropped down the memory hole.
As I wrote earlier in the thread, I use dial-up with typical connection speed of about 36K and I haven't had the problem. I'm the one who should be the problem child on this one.

I had another timeout a few minutes ago. It seems like the scores window freezes before the timeout occurs. I quit seeing updates which normally progress every few seconds. So, I would look into what might be causing the scores window to hang ... (I'm guessing so kind of locking problem).

My wife just had a timeout. She doesn't play anywhere the speed I do.
The odd thing this time is that both the dial up accelerator and Be Safe On Line both shutdown also. The code was 427.
After this event the site got very , very slow. I don't recall this happening in Beta one.

Faygo, that sounds like an internet connection problem. I can't think of any reason why the dial-up accelerator would stop due to our server here. You aren't alone in the timeouts though as shadowman has reported. So I'm certainly not dismissing anything at all. The download/upload delay has to be pretty severe to cause a timeout right now. Are either of you having an issue where the top scores list does not load at all and turns white or gives a "page not found" error?

Yes both of those things have happened to me. It turns white first, then when I reload the game, I get the IE message page not found. This does not happen on the initial load of the games, only after you have been playing.
