I stand corrected and yield the floor.
I didn't intend it as a "gotcha" question. Was just curious. You do have wide-ranging experience, even if not primarily in Nevada.

I hope we didn't lose the OP already.

tb10 started with the assumption that "rigging" exists and ask's, How? Seems to be a valid question, given the assumption.

Several others, in this and other similar threads, have opined that newer machines seem to play different. Factual evidence lacking, the jury is still out on this one

I, for one, have repeatedly asked (ad nauseum to some) a simple question. Is the RNG, or the deck composition, alterable by the machine owner? One glimmer of evidence, in answer, was a post of a regulation requiring machine manufacturers to "..... secure or encrypt the RNG as to be accessible to no one...". Still searching on this one.

Which leads me to another question. With all the kicking around on this subject, over at least 2-3 years,
Where the hell are all the knowledgeable experts on this subject?

This should be a vital issue to any serious VP player. The pay-back table tells us pay-back %, only if the game is truly random!

Maybe time to appeal to a higher power? (pun intended).
A new thread Maybe?
How about : BD please phone home!

We have 5 current threads on the topic, and it's been done many times before. If you haven't already gotten the answer you wanted, I doubt it's going to happen.

My opinion, which I'm probably repeating -- It's not possible to be perfectly sure of fairness. Insiders will find new ways to cheat. Malfunctions will happen. Regulators will be out to lunch. Gamblers will complain.

Through it all, I continue playing because my overall risk assessment adds up to not much.

Had winning years 8 out of 10 years in AC before the recession in 2008, when the good games were pulled.

News flash! Gambling is clearly rigged to the house's advantage no matter what if you look at the odds and mathematics. Why would they need to "rig" their machines when it is known that the house always has the edge? Maybe it is the players that are delusional.

Cry me a river. There are plenty of “good games” in AC. 99.1%, 99.54%. Car’s Borgata base does seem to have pulled them per my last visit, so I bailed on them. Venture beyond Borg. I know it’s sublime.

If your goal is to be a losing player who occasionally binks a win, then yes, those are good games.
