If others want to pay $50 to $100 an hour or more to see a max coin
jackpot, that's fine.  We don't think the experience is that valuable.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What else can we say? $20 an hour loss is  bad enough. That's my absolute limit.

My last 2 trips, totaling $2100 resulted in 1 quad for $250. I
was on positive machines playing max coins no mistakes. Losses like that sting and just make it hard to remember it is a grind.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good grief, PPP. Those were some serious drubbings. I am bitter after losing $40 on the day. Given my coin in, one annual max coin RF means a break even year. Without it, I've paid for the entertainment.

Fun and anticipation with the same comp awards. Sounds good to me. On my post below, I only had to put in 2 twenties, to reap the 16,000 nickels. Will it happen soon again? Probably not. Did we both have fun and stay entertained for the entire trip? Borrowing again from FP, I think he said once....you bet....Speaking of fun, I did reserve a room months ago for the Super Bowl. Somehow, it went in as comp. Don't know how, but if the weather holds, tonight I'm going to take advantage of it. Work day for the Mrs. though tomorrow weather permitting. If I do go up alone, most $ stays home with the piggy bank...the Mrs. Still working on my discipline a little. The girls at home will probably be content to watch the puppy bowl and forget the game less the commercials.

     Edited to add.....I hear there is a new reality tv show in the works...It is called VP Survivor... It features known CS players from the forum as well as some familiar guest appearances.    

     I did make a run up last night just as the Super Bowl ended. Should have left real early this morning though because the snow storm had begun. 35 mph all the way back home, but better than spinning out. Saw plenty of those and mostly SUVs.
     I can't complain about this trip either. I played 8 hours using skill on the 9/6 job game, and a little skill, but mostly luck on the Double Down Stud Deuces Wild game. Both games made use of CS, but on the job game, I started with 5 in case the Royal came in. Luckily I hit one quad with 5 in and another one with the max bet of 25 quarters in. The DDstud game paytable is less than 98%, but over the years, I have done well on this particular machine. If you have the time to wait it out, it will usually deal you one or more Wild Royals. This trip it dealt me 4. Two were caught with only one coin in, but the other 2 were with 5 in.

I'm happy that you had a nice quick trip Olds, seeing SUV's spun out or in ditches is a sure sign of arookie SUV driver. Seeing that I've owned 6,I would say I know what I'm talking about.

I've played Double Down Stud only on this site and one thing I noticed is to double down on every hand, does that sound right?

You decide if you should double after seeing your first 4 cards. For instance on Deuces wild, you don't double if the first 4 are garbage, but you would if you have one deuce and a chance at an inside straight. Of course a winner on the first 4 cards means you double since you will double your winnings and have a chance at more on the last card. It is a fun game and very hard to find in the casinos. It is an old time game from the early 90's. A dealt Royal is worth 5k on a quarter game bet 5. One thing I like about it is you can easily play a thousand hands per hour.

Ha! VP Survivor would be an amazing reality show, even on Community Access. If only we got casino clearance. Put a Go Pro camera on player caps to readily record all the losing in AC, Biloxi and Tunica. Capture FP hitting yet another jackpot on a denomination switch. Get the stink eyes and death stares directed at pipe and cigar smokers. Watch me run to a craps table to try to win some fast cash to prolong my VP fix. I'd even make a break for the Atlantic after a RF for posterity's sake, hurling my shoes and socks at the camera.

I did not what I was thinking at the time when I said everyone knows about Today's Score being irrelevant. My mistake, meant to say people should not take regard Today's Score if they plan to keep playing for the long haul.

Based on the stories I hear, a high positive Today's Score can possibly impact future offers from the casino.
