Suited King-Ten Question

Need some expert advice. When playing Supertimes Pay Poker with the tutorial on I had a situation where I was dealt a suited King-Ten and three unsuited small cards with no chance of a straight. I elected to keep the King-Ten and was told I should only keep the King. A few minutes later I got another suited King-Ten with three small cards and this time it told me to keep the King-Ten....what gives? Thanks for any input. :?:

K/10 suited in JoB (9/6)

Only hold the King by itself when there’s a same suit flush penalty card to the K/10 AND a 9 of any suit. Example:

K♥️ 10♥️ 9♣️ 2 ♥️ 3♦️ (Hold K only)

Does that strategy also apply to Q-10 combos?

Only if you also have an ace in the hand. If dealt Q♥️ 10♥️ 6♣️ 4♠️ 2♥️, or Q♥️ 10♥️ 6♣️ A♠️ 2♥️, or Q♥️ 10♥️ 6♣️ A♠️ 2♦️, hold Q,10, A,Q, Q,10 respectively.

Essentially Q,10 suited beats A, Q offsuit unless you have a third of the suit that the Q, 10 is. Compare my examples. If no ace in hand, hold Q, 10 suited even if there is another of that suit. This is for 9/6. Other pay table might be different.

Thanks for all the advice. Maybe its just me but I don't think its worth using all that brain power on trying to remember all of that. Probably will just hold the 2 card royal and hope for the best. If I don't get a royal what's the worse that could happen? I get a straight, full house or 4 of a kind.
