I prefer to play slow, you either hit it big or miss each hand. It's all random. Playing fast without hitting big just sends you home earlier. Play slow, enjoy and smell the roses.

My approach is if my timing is not hitting the hands I should I need to do something to change my timing. This may mean playing slower, faster for a few hands, trying to get into a timing for the hits. That also may mean changing the button or the screen to draw/redraw. The key is changing my timing if I'm not hitting.

I really do think it's wrong to think changing how fast (or slow) you are playing will have any effect at all on your results. But, if it makes you feel better....

You may be right but then I don't have an endless bankroll. I guess I spent too many years working with/ around the theory of insanity. "If my timing is not getting it done then continuing at the same pace...defines insanity." So its just probably aesthetics! But, again I'll take my luck. ;)

There are other things you can do to try and change your luck. You could play left handed for a while. You could play standing up. You could put your hat on backwards. You could sing a song. Etc., etc., etc. All, in my opinion, have exactly the same chance of changing your luck as does altering your pace of play.

It might not change your luck, but you won't really care.
