Thanks gang for the technical answer. Something for me to consider. I hate that sinking feeling when I hold just the joker and get nothing back. Iā€™m quite bappy with a push, but to me, getting nothing while holding the joker is a real bummer. I do enjoy Joker Kings especially on the rare occasion I hit a Royal, I get 940 for one instead of 800. Also it is not that unusual to hit a quad back to back then there always that good feelng to be dealt a quad with the joker knowing the worst you will do is get paid 17 for one and having that shot at 5 of a kind is nice too. The straight flushes and Wild Royals are not common, but nice when they appear. Anyway, I enjoy the game even though the variance is a bit rough

The closer the rank is to the middle of the deck (e.g. Joker-8) the more straights and straight flushes that can be made. With Joker-8 for example you can pick up: 456, 457, 467, 567, 569, 579, 679, 67T, 69T, 79T, 79J, 9TJ, 9TQ, 9JQ, TJQ
I'm sure you meant to add in 7TJ to above. If 15 Straight Flushes are good, 16 are better.
Yep, I thought I was missing one dammit.

I only play JP while knocking of UX mults, and don't get very many plays, but I've yet to score anything higher than a 4 of a kind.
I somehow lucked into a quint a few years ago drawing 2. But it was nickels and had no multipler on it. Bleh.
