Getting destroyed

Post by Csak47100 »

Hello all , so I’m definitely getting destroyed now . This past week I’m down another 30 k and down total 52 k ever since I started playing vp. I was doing very good at bj but I thought I had limits with bj and tried to expand to vp but I highly regret now . My bankroll shrunk 25% less and I just feel like I’m throwing away money in the gutter . How can this game possibly have an edge ? Is my serious thought . My game is 9/6 five play DDB . Is that the problem ? My game is almost perfect after practicing everyday so I’m not sure what the problem is , I try to do around 50 k coin with 25$ a hand five play DDB but I been not getting any jackpots and all I get is just jack or higher and 2 pairs and money just slowly drAins . Is this pretty normal? Do I just wait for natural royal or AWAK god 10 or 20 k big jackpot ? Can someone advice me because I’m considering just quit and go back to bj . Thanks guys .

Why are you expecting to win even with perfect play?

Well I’m not trying to win from the machine but I feel like I’m losing way more than I should be , is it normal to lose 3-5 k for trying to don50 k coin ?

Seems house edge is 10% instead of 1% . Do I just wait for big jackpot ?

The biggest problem with vp is the incredible streaks usually the bad ones. In the good streaks, incredible hits can be had, but they are very short lived. That is just the way vp is. Unfortunately, DDB is one of those games prone to incredible and long streaks with no great hits. These 99.2, 99.54, etc returns that are in fact real on the better games, most of the time will only happen with perfect play AND a very long run. What is a very long run? Good question. I have played over 25 million lifetime hands and cannot come close to those percentages. My return based on the average of all the games I play should be about 98.8 percent or so, but I am under Royaled by about 50percent. Sounds hard to believe, but it happened to me. So what is the damage? At least 1.25 million lost in about 27 years of playing vp. By the way, I did have one incredible good streak. Won two huge jackpots for 18k each in a 24 hour period. One on DDS and one on Bonus Deuces wild. These above numbers result from playing a lifetime average of about 2 bucks a hand. The budget to play DDB 25 bucks at a time would be incredible. At 600 plays per hour at 25 bucks a play would be 15,000 coin in per hour. For 8 hours, 120,000 coin in. If that particular session was almost quadless, you could lose 30,000 in one day/ session especially if of course no Royal and a sparse collection of full houses

Just to finish up the above post, If you have an entire 8 hour session and the highest hand you get is a full house, you are going to give up 21 or 22 percent of coin in right there. If the full hoses are below average, you will approach that negative 30,000 number for that session. I have unfortunately several sessions like that over the years or almost as bad 5,000 hands with only one or 2 quads. Since you are playing 5 hands at a time, very unlikely you would go 8 hours and be quadless, but you could easily hit that negative 30,000 number in just a few sessions. Also you are giving up 1percent before you even start on 9/6 DDB long term

Thanks for input , I heard bob dancer say that lifetime yearly winning players have lot more losing sessions than winning sessions. How is that possible ? Winning session meaning hitting big jackpot , and win by mailers ?

If you have losing sessions of: $1,500.00; $1,000.00; $1.000.00 and a winning session of $4,000.00, you've had 3 losing sessions totaling $3,500.00 and 1 winning session of $4,000.00. More losing sessions but you are ahead $500.00.
