my goal is to leave the casino with money, and my selective memory has me laughing when I deposit my voodoo money in the bank. What works for one may not work for others.
Leaving the casino with money, doesn't necessarily mean you won any money.

It is possible that in the short term you are in profit (you said you're still learning). But changing machines hasn't helped with that. It won't hurt you either though. Eventually, unless you have some other means of gaining an edge (cash back, free play, comps etc.) you will be withdrawing your voodoo money again.

9/6 DDB VP is a MODERATE VARIANCE (about twice the variance of 9/6 JoB) with a 98.98% payback (99.54 with 9/6 JoB) game so you would expect some longer possible losing streaks. olds442jetaway has a ton more experience than me but I would think you are facing a normal run. Perhaps shift to a lower variance game? Also, what are your club points like?

Yea that’s what I’m thinking , maybe five play job 9/6,any other recommendations?

Is more hands lower variable?

For example is 50 play or even 100 play lower variance and suit better if purpose is just to coin in with less variance ?

What do you mean by club points ?
I play everywhere so it varies

Yes, if the total bet is the same. Playing a full coin $5 game requires a total wager of $25. If, instead, you could play the same game and payable for 100 line nickels, your total wager would be the same $25, and the variance would be lower.
