Some casino also raise coin in on VP machines for tier scores, well above that of regular slot machines. Kind of discouraging
Frankly, I doubt that you could find a casino anywhere that doesn't do this.

Good guess Tech. Just about right. Probably 20 million plus. Agree on the discipline. Never had trouble with it on craps either. After a hit, I couldn’t wait to get away from the drunks, BO specials, crowders, and floaters waiting to steal your chips when distracted. Gave up craps about 25 years ago. Standing in one place 12 hours or more with the above and I forgot to mention the stale cigar smoke. Also I knew it would be just a matter of time before I would slug one of the losers and get banned or worse. In the casino, they don’t care who is right or wrong, everyone gets thrown out. I actually came close to getting thrown out at Foxwoods about 10 years ago. I was playing a machine and had been for several hours. A maintenance crew showed up and said I had to leave immediately because they were going to do some cleaning in the area just routine. I refused explaining which they didn’t care about of course that I needed at least a half hour to hour of play where I was because I was playing a certain way and needed to wind it up or down accordingly not just walk away . Their supervisor showed up who was a total dork much worse than the regular maintenance guys. I still refused to leave and five or six knuckle dragger‘s in suits showed up. Explained the situation to them very professionally. Ended up reaching a compromise where I got to play where I was another 30 minutes , got a personal apology from the dork maintenance supervisor, and a decent dinner comp on top of it so all ended pretty well. All they had to do was stop by an hour or so before they intended to start work to give me a heads up but of course they didn’t do that. I never had any trouble after that always got a warning of an hour or so if they were going to close an area.

hey Car it does happen , but not to us ! my friend once said , when u r down at job, u stay down !!
I've had a few +$400-$500 runs on single line quarter 9/6 JoB without hitting a royal or straight flush, so it isn't always true. But probably 99.54% of the time it does stay down. ;)

I’ve never had a run of quads like that on JOB, but I did on deuces wild with wild royal fluses. They pay the same as a quad on jacks or better. If I remember I got up three or 400 bucks from that run. Some of the loser deuces wild machines only pay 20 for one for the wild royal flush. I won’t go near those. Only the airport Deuces machines At just under 99%

Heeeeeee. Sorry AP. I always associate you with pickem and tech with deer stands, but we are all pretty much in the same camp. We are never too olds whoops old for a bit of humor. That reminds me, I should get back to writing some more on my Sci-Fi novel. Just watching some Ancient Aliens reruns in between dumbell workouts.

Sure. They vary from player to player. They have two types. One has to do with how many status points you have earned in a six month rating period. The other has to do with how many status points you have earned in a gaming day. They also have double and triple status point days a few times during rhe month. Unfortunately, you cannot spend status points. They only count toward your tier status during the six month rating period. Mohegan Sun does not pay spendable points just status points on 99 percent games. Therefore I have 0 spendable points there. I just pay as I go or shift half or better of my play to Foxwoods to get spendable points. The point and comp systems both casinos use are completely different.
Actually, it is not really worth trying to earn points you can spend at either casino. One exception. If one can afford to play a dollar 99.54 job game at Foxwoods, you are better off there than Mohegan. You earn 0 spendable points at Mohegan for playing this game, but you do at Foxwoods.
Here is the downside. Roughly, you have to run 500 bucks through a vp machine to earn 1 spendable point. Points are valued at one dollar. So if you want a 4 buck cup of Starbucks coffee, you have to run 2,000 bucks through the machine. Round numbers but in that ballpark last time I checked.
So if you are playing a 97.5 game at Mohegan instead of a 99.54 game just so you can earn spendable points, that cup of Starbucks coffee will cost you in the long run 40 bucks. That is why I only play 99 percent ganes for the most part at Mohegan. There are too many fine points to mention on both casinos comp systems and who knows if they will keep things the same when they reopen. Any questions about either Ct casino just ask and I will do my best to answer.
I have to say this though and I guess this goes for most of us. With this awful virus still with us, my bank balances are climbing even without gains in the market. Just goes to show how expensive this hobby can be.
