Numerous casinos in Vegas are offering better-than-average gambling specials as a way to bribe players into playing. At the current time, the casinos are still relatively un-busy which makes it a more lucrative time to play here than usual.

What are these specials? I'm not interested in sharing them on a big forum. Searching all over and finding the good ones is part of the game. When enough people find out about a particular good deal, the casino will stop it, so advertising what I've found would be cutting my own throat. But good deals are there to be found.

Same old, same old. Why bother posting at all? To boast that you are so special and unique to find these deals, but "I'm not telling, nyah nyah." Silly old man.

You're not too old to learn . . . maybe just say nothing and don't post at all. IT'S THE SAME RESULT.

People sure do get sensitive when Mr Dancer posts. I think some people would appreciate knowing there are good deals out there and to keep their eyes open, even if the specifics aren't mentioned. No harm in that.

I have question regarding these "better than average gambling specials." Well maybe more than just one.

Who are the casinos offering these specials to? Other players here in these forums have recently written of receiving offers and if these offers are all related to the level of play booked to any individual player then that would lead a person to believe that their offers were all different and not a generic or one size fits all "better than average gambling special."

If these specials are, in fact, individual and unique to each player they are then not available to all players. Meaning: they would not all get the same "better than average gambling specials."

So, there would be no reason for a player to search all over and find the good ones because these gambling specials would all be delivered to them and not en mass. Otherwise, Bob could just classify these "better than average gambling specials" as "Special Plays" only hidden to certain insiders.

It was recently reported that a man wrote a book several years ago that had clues in it regarding where a treasure that he put together was hidden. I'm sure he was all giddy and filled with glee thinking about the people who bought his book to get the clues. The treasure was recently found but what was also revealed was that 2 people died while trying to find this same treasure.

Regarding LV casino offers, locals pretty much get only food and freeplay comped. Out of state gets much more food and freeplay comped with the hotel rooms added on. Before I moved to LV, I was getting a huge amount of freeplay along with suites comped at the likes of Red Rock, Rampart, Wynn, Suncoast, and Orleans. That has all dwindled down to food and freeplay, and not much of it anymore, at some of those casinos. Now I'm sure if you're dumping tens of thousands of $$$ everyday into a VP machine here, those offers of course will be more lucrative, but for those of us who tend to keep an eye on our budget and not go overboard, we get kibbles and bits.

We do have masks on order. Not sure when they will actually be available though. It will probably be limit 1 per customer. It's almost as if every company in the world thought of the same thing at the same time.

They vary. Every casino is different. Some you have to be invited to. Some are open to everybody. Some you can earn an invitation by playing heavily without the promotion and then collecting on the promotion later.

I'll provide one example -- open to everybody. You tell me if it's better than you usually get.

Four Queens --- open to everybody --- play 4,000 points ($32,000 coin-in on most machines --- but $64,000 coin-in on 10/7 DB.) Earn an extra $400 free play and an extra $140 in comp dollars. normal rewards for that much play is $100 in cash back and $200 in comp dollars --- which you also get.

For 50 cent and dollar single line player, the best game is 10/6/40 DDB (The 40 refers to receiving 200 for the straight flush rather than the typical 250), which is worth 99.96%. Assuming you play $32,000 coin-in on this game, you can expect to lose $13 on the game itself and gain a total of $500 in cash+free play and $340 in comps. Plus you'll get mailers.

Assuming you can play 800 hph at dollars, this is an 8-hour play worth $487 in cash plus free play. (You can play off your free play on some, not all, 10/6/40 machines meaning your EV is basically 100% of the face value.) Round numbers that's $60 per hour for a dollar play. If the comps have real value to you (Hugo's Cellar is an excellent steakhouse) you get an additional $45 per hour in comps.

(This is DDB, so the swings are large. You can easily be behind after $32,000 coin-in, but learn the game and I like your chances.)

You can do this once each month for June, July, and August. Conceivably an out-of-towner could come in on June 30 and play 8 hours and collect, and also play another 8 hours on July 1 and collect again.

If you don't like DDB, they have quarter 9/6 JoB --- and not much else. That game isn't worth as much per hour, but the promotion is still a 1.25% free play bonus --- plus nice comps --- in addition to the regular 0.3125% cash back and 0.625% comps. The $400 comes at you incrementally (meaning if you only play $16,000, you get half the amount.) $40 worth of extra comps comes at the halfway point and the other $100 comes at completion.

this may not be the best promotion (for me it's definitely not) --- but it's one I feel comfortable sharing. Truly there are others.
