So I have vpFree on my phone. Does anyone know if the casinos frown upon me using the Hand Evaluator for tough hands? I’ve used the Blackjack strategy cards once at a table and no one seemed to care! Any help would be appreciated......thanks!

There is a helpful discussion of this topic in the Video Poker Calculator thread.

I would check with management and the on site gaming commission. I would hate to see a jackpot you hit voided. Rules are all over the place. My gut on what I read bout Nevada abd what was posted says no.

I'm not in Vegas enough to know their rules but I think its like the first times years ago I used my phone for jackpot photos. One security guy said, 'Illegal" another one asked if I wanted to be in the picture, he'd take it for me. After talking to a slot manager and emailing the Director of Slots with a link to my pictures and story on this site, I got an email saying "sure, thanks for talking about your great time at our casino." Mission accomplished. With the accessibility of phones they couldn't stop it. I still use WinPoker check whenever I'm playing a new pay table or catch a "doubt hand". That's my $2 bucks worth of advice. My advice with those $2 bucks might get you coffee or a drink.

But if you were at my house tonite, it would have got you this and your two bucks back. Chicken, hot off my grill, corn cut off the cob, wife’s delicious pasta salad, and a little fruit. By the way, I’m real curious what management and or the gaming commission says about such devices. I know! A bit too much pasta for the waistline!!

Did you cook your corn on the grill olds? I have started cooking my corn on the grill with a little spray butter and some tony zachery's cajun seasoning for some flavoring. We love to grill as well.

Not this time, thanks for the seasoning tip! Have to get a new regulator for the grill.

Olds, when you get your grill fixed just put a couple of shucked cobs sprayed with butter, seasoned as you like, wrap up in tin foil, leave off to the side from direct heat where you are grilling your meat, chicken, or pork chops. Usually takes 30 minutes. If you want to shorten cooking time you can take off early and use the microwave for a minute or two. We usually grill the frozen corn on the cob so we don't have to hassle with shucking.
