Right now, I'm two hours from the closest casino so my gambling is non-existent.

Piece of cake! Seriously, you are lucky to have gotten it out of your system. Even if simply due to geographic inconvenience.
This is why major casinos all offer online gambling. In this special time, online gambling will contribute a lot to the casino business. MGM will close some of the properties soon, yesterday’s news. https://www.khon2.com/news/national/las ... -ceo-says/

So I think online casino should be allowed to discuss on this forum.

If it is an extension of a land-based casino company in the US (with their name on it) such as the ones in New Jersey, feel free.

If unsure, then don’t.

Yeah, very nice revenue stream with very little operations cost. If this was my only option, though, I would abstain. I love the live experience. It would be fantastic to have my machine shut down and have an attendant come over. The whole theater experience looks like a blast. Then announcing that I want a check, much to their dismay.

But you have to tip the attendants when they pay you jackpots if you play in the live casino.

My rule of tipping is the greater of $10 or 0.5%. I may over tip if the same attendant who pays me constantly and fast. Every trip I have to tip a lot in total. That's damage to my bankroll.

There are some casinos allowing self-pay jackpot if the amount is less than $10K. I know HardRock in AC offers that. Ocean casino may offer it too, but I am not sure. The good thing about self-pay jackpots, for example, that HardRock offers is not only you can save the tips, but they will mail you just one tax form aggregating all your jackpots if you hit all those within 1 day. It's a lot more convenient.

Where is it written that you HAVE to tip the attendants? I believe that Bob D frowns upon tipping the attendants just for paying you YOUR money.

Full disclosure: I tip.

I am with the expert. The check solution actually has multiple benefits. No cash weighing you down, no theft worries, easier bank or ATM deposit transaction and much less awkward to eschew tipping, as no actual currency has changed hands. The attendant infers that all funds are tied up in the machine and is thereby SOL. I fervently hope to apply this principle in the near future.

I ask for a check if my jackpot is > $8K. Because if you deposit >$10K cash, your bank will ask you some questions.

But you still need to tip them.

The guru does tip I read $5 per since he plays so big and gets many hand pays in a evening.

I tip 20 bucks seems fair to me.

A serious question- If you knew five years ago that thousands of hours of playing VP would result in ou not seeing a cent of profit, would you do it anyway?
NOPE

I stand corrected.
