This an example where one of the software tutors would make it easy. They all have the ability to analyze a single hand for the games they support. See the section on software programs for more information.

To: Shadowman and Mike A. , I've learned basic JOB and Deuces Wild strategies. Which game should I now attempt to learn? Mike, what games did you play at the Golden Gate? Do you recommend playing there? Thanks.

I suggest finding the game you enjoy the most and go with it. You might want to test out a few games using a software package just to get a feel for how you like them.

I think that at the Golden Gate, DDB is 9/5 and DB is 9/6. It's barely okay if you want to play for nickels. I don't think the paytables are different at quarters but I might be mistaken. I usually mostly play $3 blackjack there. They make about the strongest drinks on Fremont!Across the Street, you can get 9/6 DDB and TBP 8/5. I don't think they have DB on those machines. I'm talking about those machines at the Las Vegas Club touted at 99%. BULL! I never saw 99% on one of them. Close but no cigar.

How current are the listings on VPfree? It's got to be difficult the way they play musical chairs with the machines and yank out banks of slots at will.

The VPFree listings vary greatly in their accuracy. Especially, the casinos without monitors.
