Martiandale Clone

Post by VegasAces1 »

Can anyone out there lead me to a post or site that will give me a strategy for this method. I want to use it for Bonus Poker with the A's -4's premium payouts. Any and all info will help! A few years back I believe Florida Phil had something on this. THANKS!

I believe that what you are looking for is a martingale clone. I am not familiar with the martiandale clone.

If you search the forums using martingale clone as your search, you may find the answers.

I think I coined the term a few years back. I use a different method for every game and paytable. None work long term, but if you have the discipline to hit and run and have a loss cut off point, you might do OK most sessions. It helps to have games that allow bets of up to 25 credits and also the ability to go from quarters to halves to dollars anytime you want on the same machine.

In its most simple form on 9/6 JOB which I would also use on bonus poker, I begin with betting 5 quarters. I ignore a push as if it didn’t happen. If I have 4 straight losing hands, I begin betting 6. If I hit anything 2 pair or higher before I lose 4 consecutive hands, I drop back to bet 5. If I lose 4 in a row at bet 6, I go th bet 7 and follow the same pattern. Anytime I have a new high total for credits, I drop back to bet five and start all over again. Ideally, in JOB or Bonus Poker, you will hit your quads and full houses at a higher bet level so you can drop down or quit. Bankroll bust loss limit is up to you, but I would set one. I vary between 500 and 1,000 bucks most sessions.

Does this really work? I'm of the mindset that if I bring 500 bucks to play with over a weekend, that's what I play with, and if I have any leftover when I go home, then great, and whenever it's gone that is it, but I always try to make it last as long as my trip.

I tried the Martian dale at my local casino. I won $50, but there was no atmosphere. :P

I'm gonna work on that joke some more.
